My piece is entitled “who are your people” and is a visual interpretation of the chapter “everything worthwhile is done with other people.” It speaks to the ecology of relationships. Including the responsibility to be accountable in our impact on others, as well as the ethos that Mariame’s father teaches her about the truth and value of our interconnectedness.
I expand this principle to visually and spiritually include our plant siblings.
A new world awaits, and our relationships are compasses and fuel for the journeys ahead.
